Another sad day

I woke up this morning to the sad news of the passing of Terry Wogan. In a different way to David Bowie, he formed a backdrop to most of my late teens and adult life. Gill said, ' All he does is play records and amuse himself.' That's probably what TW would have said himself, often saying that he never really had a proper job. I particularly enjoyed his 'Janet and John, readings, with John Marsh tittering away in the background, often dissolving into paroxysms of wheezy laughter, as in this little extract.  https://youtu.be/5tKnsZCELD4
