Cat's Eyes

Last cat blip of the week. Here we have Lottie who has snuggled into a pile of cushions. She was left behind four years ago when our neighbouring animals rescue centre relocated. For a while she lived in an old shed that we kept open and provided her with basket, blankets and food. Gradually we encouraged her closer to the house by strategically placing "new homes" for her. About six months ago she decided that we could be trusted and moved into the house. This trust does not allow us to handle her and she is still quite nervous and wary of us. She is first in the lineup for food, goes out for only a few minutes each day , and is a very gentle cat , never reacting to the paw slaps that she sometimes gets.

Lottie is completely black in colour and her eyes can hardly be seen in the photo. Perhaps in a few months time she will permit some human contact.
