anchors aweigh

this splendid  'logo' is on the gates of the Mile End Mill originally owned by the Clark family of Paisley noted thread manufacturers theirs was the anchor and Coats who bought them out in the late 19thC had a chain as their 'logo'
The xtras are of this very fine A-listed mill building which is now home to many small businesses, offices and a thread museum.
The chimney of the old boiler house is 250 feet high and is a significant landmark in Paisley
