Rollins

Ace day in London with friends wandering along the sunny river and taking in the Portrait Prize. As always, there was time for a few ales before heading to the Barbican for a fix of Henry Rollins. We saw him four years ago, and it had a deep effect on me- I left feeling inspired and euphoric. So our expectations were high; and although the evening didn't match last time, it was still a great night. He spoke for three hours, ranging from listening to the Stooges in the arctic to keeping Lemmy company in LA.
