In the clouds

Dad had heard that Love London and The Shard were selling unlimited year long passes for the View from the Shard to the first 500 people from 10am this morning.
We had hoped to be there bright and early so not to miss out.
Thinking we were going to be too late, as we didn't leave Wembley until almost 7.45am, we were pleasantly surprised to see there were only 4 other people in the queue when we arrived.
A very polite and helpful Dutch gentlemen soon joined us, followed by a lovely young couple from South London.

Having successfully bought our £20.16 passes, we decided to take a look at the viewing galleries on the 69th and 72nd floors. The guide explained there was zero visibility due to the naff weather, but we thought we'd take a look anyway.

She was not wrong, literally zero visibility. Couldn't see a damn thing through the clouds.

Glad we have until the end of 2016 to give it another shot!
