Day 031/16. Atlantis.

One of the single most impressive things I have ever seen in my life. The human species can create and achieve some incredible things, but this has to be right up there with the best I have ever seen. I saw the space shuttle Atlantis up close and personal today.
Atlantis flew into space 33 times before being retired. For anyone with even a remotely scientific or inquiring mind everything about this is impressive.
At the same time it reminds you both how amazing the human spirit is and what a desire to seek out new things we all have. As Reagan said 'The future doesn’t belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.'. Simply incredible.
