Dangerous Drugs Act

How things have changed.

When I first started in practice we regularly compounded medicines, it's a lost skill now. "Specials" are made up, at great cost (and often delay) by licensed premises.

This is a throw back to when pharmacy was a more practical profession. I do like to see all the old bottles and handwritten labels. A reminder of a very different world. At a time when not everyone could read, the ribs on the side announced that the bottle contains a poison.
