Contre-jour...

... against the low afternoon sunlight. Mono Monday is here again so soon.

I drove down this street towards the light, at which point I decided what I wanted to photograph for my Mono Monday challenge of 'Light' (unusual for me to be so decisive). Parked the car quickly and walked up one side of the street and back down the other, taking about 6-8 shots as the light faded fast. 

A windy Monday afternoon, little custom in the local shops so, by the time I crossed the road, several of the small shopkeepers were watching this silly man with the camera.

Then the lady appeared from round the corner - job done! 3 minutes max.
