Good for the brain

In our village Bookclub we read an interesting variety of books, and once in a while one of us chooses a classic novel.
Mill on the Floss has been a challenging read, in that it is a long book! George Eliot uses a great deal of detail, exposition, a complicated plot, and philosophical observations as she develops her characters through the novel.
But it has been well worth reading, and I look forward to our discussion tomorrow afternoon!
