bantry bay

The day was brighter but icy. 

My builder friend came by and looked at some problems we are having with the house. It was good to discover that, though serious, they are not as serious or as difficult and expensive to fix as I had feared. 
Another friend, Marie, called with gifts for Freddie. 
We nipped to Bantry in the late afternoon, as much for a change of scene as anything else. It was freezing.
