Forget me not

I spent most of the day using the scanner at Stills in Edinburgh. I had a chair with wheels on which provided me with hours of fun zooming about in a rather juvenile fashion. There was no one else there, but when I almost fell off I did look around for hidden CCTV cameras.

I managed to scan most of the slides. I brought them home with me after my last stay with Mum. Many of them I had never seen, so there were a lot of memories rediscovered. Looking through them made me realise just how many of my family died young and seeing them smiling, unaware of what the future would bring, really pulled at me. This copy shows my mother and father (on the right) and my uncle and aunts. It was taken in Besancon where my mother was born.
