view from Convent Hill, SE19

I have driven by the end of this road countless times over the years.  Only today did I happen to glance to the side and see this view.  I stopped to take this shot on the way back.

Now I'm even further behind with comments after a busy day plus  internet problems this evening.   
I will catch up.

I can't think what that building is that features in my thumbnail but it looks odd.  A hint of Tardis about it.
