The Water Tower

A frequent choice of blip I know, but a local landmark that is visible from most of my dog walks.  

Mum and Dad left to go home this morning after a very successful few days away separately, and together with us daughters.  This happily opens up so many more options for Dad to have respite from 24/7 care of my Mum.  

Besides we want and need him to share her whilst she still knows us and loves us.

I got to spent lots of 1 to 1 time with my Dad, relaxing, shopping and then re-covering some kitchen chairs (instead of buying new ones) which is just the sort of 'can-do' project characteristic of him, and his attitude to life..

Things are looking up.
