Address to Haggis

Fair fa' your honest sonsie face,
Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!

Always the first item on the programme of a Burns Supper. The haggis is carried on a silver salver by the chef as a piper plays a rousing tune.

Tonight Eric Hislop recites the poem and theatrically cuts the haggis with ceremonial knife.
