New Zealand v Australia

If you haven't tried it, you shouldn't knock it, as my Grannie used to say. So we tried an international cricket match and we won't be knocking it.
Kirk, an ex professional cricketer, suggested that this match might be worth watching and it didn't disappoint. The 50 over format fits easily in to a day - or an afternoon and evening - and the start time of 2pm meant that there was no rush for us to get there. The $30NZD tickets included travel to and from Eden Park and the trains and buses were more than adequate for the job. Perhaps one of the organisers could spread some expertise in the direction of Murrayfield?
The cricket was entertaining and interesting, perhaps even exciting in parts, it was certainly enjoyable. Australia lost by 159 runs, which was an unexpectedly large margin we were told, so it finished relatively early and we had time for a drink in the centre of Auckland before H & K gave us a lift back to Sayegh Street. H has decided to buy C & D's scooter and needed to test drive it. All went well.
