picking up pace

i was expecting to hit a wall with the running tonight but somehow, to my joy, i was fine. looking back at my runs on strava i was surprised how much i've come on since my first outing with the legs a month ago.

i'm toying with waiting till i've run the 10k in september before i get my new feet (i'd originally wanted to get them once i'd reached the 5k milestone at the end of the month) as i've heard it takes a while for the body to adapt to running barefoot, so don't really fancy doing anything to get in the way of both reaching my 10k goal and making a proper go of the barefoot running thing. they'll also make a most excellent birthday present in october, hey ladySp33d ;)
