The infamous Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement is being signed in Auckland today, 2 days before Kiwis celebrate the signing of the Tiriti o Waitangi and the founding of the nation. 

Among the tens of thousands who marched through Queen Street to voice their utter opposition to the ratification of the TPPA, and the abdication of the nation's sovereignty to trans national corporations owned by foreign shareholders, this young woman chose to wear a V mask adorned with a ta moko, a fitting symbol of the civil disobedience that will be happening until the demise of the TPPA.
