Ringlet and Raindrops.

It has been a terrible spring and early summer for butterflies, but the Ringlets have been in abundance over the past few days, and flying in spite of the rain.

They tend to settle low down among the grass, making it difficult to photograph them, but this one was most obliging and settled on a day lily leaf.
