Without Gate and wall.

This the church of "St.James without the Priory Gate "in the village of Southwick , where my parents live, so called because it was situated outside the boundary of the former Priory.It is known as a Peculiar as it is privately owned and dates back to about 1145 ish.

I took this opportunity today as the wall has been taken down for replacement and it's good to be able to see the church better. 
Shame about the inevitable road signs and bins !
