Gum Wall

We had a long layover in SeaTac, so we explored Seattle.

Pike Place was recommended to us by the man in the coffee stall just outside the hotel in Hawaii, so we had breakfast there and looked round the market. If you want fish and seafood in Seattle, it's the place to go.

There was a book shop with a slightly creepy shopkeeper. He was telling us the tale of how a nice couple went in his shop, and laid the groundwork for a bad end.

He gave us directions to one of Seattle's must-see attractions: Gum Wall. It was started by patrons of Market Theatre in the 90s.

My impressions of Seattle are that it's very steep, the public transport seems pretty good, and most places seem to be either fancy or weird.

And yes, we were sleepless in Seattle, due to having coffee in the highest Starbucks in the world (40 floors up).
