Barrancas Beach Dream

Today the old becomes new again. In this case, a re-imagined view of Barrancas Beach at Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida.
I took this photo two years ago today while spending an afternoon of family time there with one of my daughters, my grandson and my son, who is an Airman in the U.S. Navy and happened to be stationed there at the time.
Barrancas Beach is home to the iconic 157-year-old Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum which overlooks Pensacola Pass (where Pensacola Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico), three forts, the Pensacola skyline and the historic Navy Yard.
You can see a photo of Pensacola Light and read a bit more about it on one of my previous Blips here -  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2118928916650394444

“Silently sit on the beach, close your eyes, now see the flowing blue sky, feel the dance of waves, and hear the whispering love song of the southern breeze.”
