Kereru rampant

Third full day in a row at the locum today. The days could be busier. The advantage, though, of having so much time per patient is that I can read the extensive notes, check on the treatment being provided and its good and bad effects, and know what to look for.

Still some difficulty talking which means its easier to listen; never a bad thing to do! Otherwise no problems. Al good for full weeks, henceforth.

Able to finish early, I joined S in taking Mr H home after school. We ended up staying longer than expected, and the boys helped their mother prepare and serve a very nice meal. She has made an excellent recovery from her surgery just six days ago. Not allowed to lift things yet, and still gets tired. Two willing helpers makes that easier.

I had a short walk along a path along the other side of the creek below C's home. This sculpture is just into the long and narrow park through which runs the path. It is there as an acknowledgement of the bringing together of the diverse cultural groups in the community with the goal of "achieving [their] dream".
