Hue Citadel

Hue used to be the capital of Vietnam before the Second World War. Now it is home to the ruins which once where home to the emperor and his royal family! It's a massive, 22km walled city inside a walled city. We spent hours here wandering around and reading about the history. The weather is miserable and cold but not raining so that's a plus. We really enjoyed it and took some cool photos.

We continue to eat delicious food every day, Hue is known as a cultural capital too. We tried the local specialties of beef and noodle soup and a rice flour pancake.
Cameron is sick with a chest infection at the moment so we are keeping the drinking to a minimum.

Ps Funny moment - yesterday after we arrived from our 16 hour bus we went in search of a full body massage but actually paid for a 1 hour foot massage instead. Only figuring this out after the ladies spent 1/2 an hour on one foot. Our feet and legs are feeling fabulous today!
