Leap

I keep quiet about a lot of things.
I'm not one for leading or taking over.
I would have said I'm a good listener
but I've noticed, lately,
that when I'm excited about something
I do find myself interrupting or talking over
the last few words of someone else's sentence.

Exactly. Exactly. I know. I know.

But, if I have to give any advice,
I will say that I'm aware all young cool cats
do need to follow their own paths
and that being older does not make everyone wiser
and, that if you're going to leap,
make sure it's in the right direction.
