Practice in the Firth

I could hear the helicopter from indoors and looked out and saw it hovering over the Firth. One man was dropped into the water by winch and then another came down and managed to grab him and the were both pulled up together.
It must have been very cold in the water and they both seemed to be in there for sometime. What a great job they do though, many people rescued and taken to safety.
A dreich day so these were the only photos I took all day. I did go to the Puffin Pool which was lovely and warm and then a cup of tea after in Inverness.
