Sea anemone................or not!

I love this, it looks just like a sea anemone, but it is actually a female Hazel flower. The long yellow catkins we all know and love are the male flowers, and these female flowers with their beautiful sticky red tentacles to catch the pollen later develop into yummy hazel nuts.
Life is so beautiful in macro!
