.... I showed you a yellow one!

In truth yellow is not a common colour in species crocus.  Out of the couple of hundred species now recognised less than ten have yellow flowers.  This is Crocus gargaricus from Turkey, one that will grow OK outside in UK gardens ..... if the slugs don't get them.  This mild winter has seen the slugs destroying all the outdoor spring flowers :-(
