red-lored parrot

I heard them the first morning here at Placencia but didn't manage to see them until now. They blend in so well with the foliage of the fruit trees they feed in that they are almost impossible to spot. I tried to show this bird to a couple that passed as I was photographing it, but I don't think they believed me. Fortunately the camera zooms it up enough to provide proof!
