Evening Walk

The weather was cooler today... a welcome respite from the recent hot muggy days. I find the humidity extremely enervating and draining. Consequently I had a quiet somewhat restful day. Maisie and I drove in the 4x4 vehicle to the Taylor Dam this evening. Keith has set up a dog bed in the back of the vehicle and we have found a way to secure Maisie safely. We walked right around the perimeter of the Taylor Dam Reserve....a park like area to the south of the lake. The land in the distance behind the pine trees is part of Meadowbank Station. Maisie, wearing her little red head halter, gamboled around in the long grass collecting biddy bids in her curly coat. Thus once back at home a grooming session was required.
