Off to the Pub

We were on our way to the Tiq to meet up with the usual Friday night crew, the first full complement for a while what with the distractions of Celtic Connections, coracle building and whatnot. Nice to catch up!

I've been using some of my new found liberty from work to research our family trees. It seems to be quite addictive but that interweb thing is great; I've got S's tree going back 13 generations now to 1539. Her granny's family seem to have remained in and around Hannover forever which probably makes tracing them a bit easier. By comparison, my own family gets lost pretty quickly. They were probably lying low!
