Sponsorship...

.... when Scotland takes the field this afternoon against England (!), they will have BT, Guinness, RBS, and Barr's Irn Bru behind them - and many others.  

The local team playing a match this morning wouldn't be able to attract that kind of support.   But my church friend, John C, who produces (or whose hens produce to be more accurate) 1.4 million eggs a day, steps in with a bit of encouragement.    Where would local rugby be without local generosity?   And, of course, where would the national team get their stars if local rugby isn't flourishing?
