Retro

Nice quiet day. Grey skies, but dry and not windy, thank goodness.

We needed to make a fairly early start, although we were up late last night catching up on three episodes of Shetland, as I had an eye test first thing. Mr A, meanwhile, was off taking pictures of doorways, which is now his chosen topic for his photography project. We met up at the Hideout, on the corner of Queen Charlotte Street and Constitution Street for a cup of coffee/tea and a piece of cake (him, not me). First time we've been there. Very positive impression, especially the retro decor.

Home now, and hunkered down in front of the rugby on tv. But I do have some work to do later, so mustn't get too distracted.

The extra is a very tuneful trio on the New Kirkgate as I went to join Mr A.
