Dubai stopover

Dubai Airport is an ultra-modern, spectacular, ginormous place, amazingly busy at four in the morning, yet eerily quiet and empty at 11am, just as GadgetKid had said. Weird!

The two airport employees from Nepal in the extra were giggling as they practised putting on false eyelashes in one of the ladies' restrooms during a quiet spell and happily agreed to let me blip them.

Back to rainy, cold Glasgow in the evening after our final Emirates flight and a very enjoyable holiday.
