A somewhat challenging day after a very excellent night out last night. It was one of those nights where all of a sudden it is 1am. My main learning was that peppermint gin is Wrong.

Anyway, I did some baking, went for a (very restoring) walk with Will and Rosie, struck further reading bargains, came home, had a nap, started watching the West Wing (coming to it a little late) and went to Catriona's for her birthday dinner. She cooked, varifocal lenses were mentioned once or twice and we established (disappointingly) that there is no trampolining GCSE. Proper good fun all round.
