Blackcurrant croissant

If you have to spend the day making wedding cakes you might as well get in the patisserie mood with a Blackcurrant almond croissant from the masters at Agathe in South Melbourne Market. Ok, it cost $8 so it's hardly an every day purchase, but OMG was it superb. The Blackcurrant filling caramelised on the bottom to make a slightly chewy fruit toffee at the ends. Of all the wonderful things to have stick to your teeth! And yes, you're not seeing wrong, the pastry itself is pink!
