Akaroa sheep

Back blip.
Today we are in Akaroa and we spent the day on a tour organised by our neighbours in the next door cabin.
It was a nature safari and took in some spectacular scenery and a visit to the Pohutu marine reserve where there is the largest colony of little blue penguins. They don't really do much during the day apart from go out to see to fish, or stay in their burrows moulting!
It was a fabulous trip, one of my favourites.
Not only did we see the little blues, but we were greeted by a lovely friendly flock of sheep on the reserve.
