Box Hill views

When we were about to get in the car to leave the hotel at the bottom of Box Hill I spotted a foot path going up the hill opposite the car park and we decided to give it a go. After a quick and somewhat slippery walk up the steep slope we were treated to these lovely views - a bit different to the drive down yesterday in pouring rain! We will come back with more time and better shoes, or even better - our bikes.

Before heading home we decided to go for a stroll around Dorking as neither of us had ever been there. Some cute bits and a rather confusing multi-storey car park (think random levels jutting off in all directions) was the overall verdict, as well as some lovely views of the hills in the distance.
