Singing Cicada

A cloudy but humid day today great for insect photos. No shadows and soft dull light. A Male cicada sits singing and striating on top of our garden trellis. He is so oblivious to the camera. He has lovely colours all through is abdomen and his wings are so fast, i had to use the hi - speed setting with my macro lens. .
