Ramblings and Mutterings

New Home

Another action packed day, but predominantly revolving around ice hockey.  The Cardiff Devils are due to move into their new home at the end of this month, and this weekend the season ticket holders had to go to the new arena to pick their new seats.  It’s quite an impressive place and I can’t wait to see the ice hockey, the ice is bigger so we should see a lot more passing and skating.  Sadly though I’m unable to sit next to my friends, as they all had different time slots and we’ve all been split up.

Back home for lunch and to watch the first half of Ireland v Wales in the Six Nations.  It finished 16 all, and from the half I saw it wasn’t great to watch.  Tense but not flowing rugby.

Back down to Cardiff then to watch the Devils beat the Belfast Giants in the first leg of the Challenge Cup semi-final 5-3.  It ain’t going to be easy in the second leg, but I’m sure we can do it.

BACK BLIPS:

Thursday - Blacks and Banff

Friday - Waterfront

Saturday - Eventful Saturday
