The Path that is not a Path Reopens

It is now 3 or 4 days since temperatures rose above freezing.  It’s been around +6°C and all the lovely snow is melting and, even worse, turning to ice.
The “path that is not a path” has been closed for a month or so due to drifting snow but so much snow is now melted that people have begun to use this shortcut again.
Grass showing through in early February is remarkable, and dreadful!
Otherwise it’s been a day at work, fairly productive and enjoyable. I’m so pleased I have a job I mostly like, working with colleagues I like. Not everyone is so lucky!
