Goldix 4 x 4

This camera was made by the German company Gerhard Goldammer, proably in the late 50s or early 60s.  It's made from metal, but is very light; the large rectangle to the right of the lens is the front window of the vewfinder.  It's pretty basic - takes 12 on 127 film, shutter speeds 1/100, 1/30 and B, two aperture settings labelled 11 and 7.7, fixed focus lens, and a standard flash contact.  The instruction leaflet has this mysterious comment:  
"The fix-focus lens of a GOLDIX 4 x 4 will facilitate plucky shots - without a special meter setting."
