Wessie

This is Wessie, who came to work for us just about this time last year. She began work on one of our outreach farms, to manage and water about 2 acres of citrus trees. Today she is seen watering citrus grove at the farm in Lusangazi, where we have sown sunn hemp between the rows of oranges to add nitrogen to the soil,
Here we pump water from a river about 400 metres away into a 75,000 litre concrete tank. This watering will go on until the rains come in November at the earliest!!
