Glasgow glows

This afternoon all of a sudden the sun appeared and changed Glasgow from grey, wet and dull to something magic. 
I came late to my appointment, as I had to stop so often to admire (and capture) the stunning views, that had been hidden behind rain and clouds for the last weeks and months.

This is the Lord Roberts Memorial (I had to look it up myself: http://www.glasgowsculpture.com/pg_images.php?sub=lord_roberts ) in Kelvingrove Park. with view over Glasgow's West End and the newer part of the University. 
The tower of the old part of the Uni is currently scaffolded and not so photogenic, therefore left out.
