Eagerly awaiting a burp

It's a good day - we all got sleep last night!

We took Esther to be weighed today, 8lb9oz, woohoo! It makes feeling like a '24hr all you can eat milk buffet' worthwhile!

The picture is of Esther with Nanny who is No.2 winder, being pipped at the post by Grandad R who wasn't available.

We braved lunch out and we managed a whole three courses without too much grief. I had both rare steak and stilton, two things I have been gagging for throughout pregnancy.

It's been a year today since my Nan died. She would have loved to have met Esther, her first great granddaughter.
