When I was small we had an actual police to perform the cycling proficiency test, or at least someone with a police outfit and a police hat as it wasn't one of the two known polices who lived in the village. Nowadays one can apparently administer proficiency training and testing after attending a short training course, so I can now hopefully help out at school sometime after stating that this sort of thing would be something I'd be interested in helping out with at the wingpiglet's induction.
