suncatcher

It was a hard decision whether to do this picture as my blip or use the sunset over the bay so have included them.
It was impossible to walk along the sandy beach towards Gullane Point as it was completely covered by the high springtide so we stood on the dunes watching a kite surfer who was enjoying the waves.  Here I tried to get him ‘catching the sun’
On the way back through the very wet Nature Reserve the sun was starting to go down over Edinburgh (extras) and as we walked across the bridge the sun set at the end of a rare day of sunshine casting a pinkish glow over Aberlady Bay.
