Unintentional blip

Well, I had decided not to use this as today's blip, but needs must! See tomorrow's entry.

When I was a small child, I used to love sorting through a big boxful of dress earrings belonging to my parents' next-door neighbour. She didn't have pierced ears, so they were all clip-ons and I found them fascinating. Maybe because they seemed to belong to another world. After all, my mum wouldn't dream of wearing such exotic jewellery, and wouldn't entertain the idea of wearing earrings!

Decades later I still love earrings, especially silver ones. These were a gift from Lucy.
