TINY Hummingbird

There was some unusual activity going on in my backyard at the beach. A couple of female hummingbirds were singing a different tune; there were male hummingbirds doing high diving acrobatics. There seemed to be some kind of competition going on; then this little guy came along and seemed to be watching with great interest. The ladies were in the same tree where he landed....he sat like this on the outskirts perhaps learning something new. They were fun to watch; the two extras are the ladies in waiting.

The weather turned rainy today after such nice days; it is still warm this evening, but rainy & windy. Good time to sit by the fire and play scrabble.
