Slow Saturday

Felt absolutely shattered upon waking this morning and didn't feel like doing much. So l had a potter about the house, something l never do really. Usually have one speed and that is fast. Think the last few days had taken it out on me mentally and emotionally. It's hard to see someone you care for being inflicted with pain even if it is for their own good. Mr P fared better than me and is not complaining. His hand is bandaged to the size of a boxing glove. He gets the dressing changed at our own doctors on Monday and then we are back to Newcastle on Wednesday.
Feeling better by lunch time l left Mr P watching sport on TV andl drove over to the supermarket at Silsden for provisions and some of my favourite everyday wine. Took a few photographs on the way there and back but didn't feel inspired by much. Then just as l approached the roundabout to our village l spied a lane that leads to a local school and saw the blanket of snowdrops.
Both of us want to see Dads Army so l think a visit to an early evening showing is on the cards. Then home for one of those fabulous sourdough pizzas from M&S. Have you tried one yet? They're the best l've tasted from a supermarket.
