Release of the seals

We visited the seal rescue centre on Thursday and learned there that 3 of the seals were strong enough to be released back into the wild.
Today the were transported to a local beach and were released (under the watch of a captivated audience). All 3 seals released are juveniles, when they were rescued in December they were ill from lung worms and only weighed approx. 10 kg. Today they are healthy, playful and weigh a hefty 35 kg.
